Colombian Bike Junkies

Colombian Bike Junkies was created back in 2011 with the idea of sharing our passion for biking with our visitors from all around the world; the routes, landscapes, sceneries, adrenaline and feeling of adventure we experienced had to be shared. The department of Santander, the adventure hotspot of Colombia was our first playground, and the towns of San Gil and Barichara our basecamp to develop the most amazing routes for mountain biking. The feeling of descending through the Chicamocha Canyon, the biggest canyon of the country, combined with cultural activities such as visiting Barichara town and getting to know the local culture made us a “must do” activity in the region. But as we are “Bike Junkies”, one destination was not enough and we wouldn’t be satisfied with a few routes if we could have more! And travelers deserve to have a real biking experience in any region they visit in our beautiful and multifaceted country. Bogotá and Medellín, the most important cities of Colombia, are now also witnesses of our adventurous spirit! There is not a mountain we haven’t ride or a descent we haven’t done; from mountaintops we ride through fields of coffee and citrus trees, passing trough beautiful towns, across raging rivers and into deep canyons filled with remote roads and single trails.
