Anil Weerakoon was born and bred in the upcountry capital city of Kandy with high efficiency in many spheres. He is an authorized tour guide who possesses a passion and love towards the nature since his early childhood. Most of his life has been spent in the jungles researching and also attending conservational projects with the assistance of the aboriginal community or the 'Veddah people of Sri Lanka. He extends his services to tourists and nature lovers as a biologist. He has over 15 years of experience guiding and advising in the areas of nature, adventure, culture, water rafting etc.
