Our trip to Chiang Mai and Mae Hong Son Northern Thailand, planned by the Mae Hong Son Holidays team was amazing. Good hotel and restaurant recommendations, flexible scheduling, fair pricing, Definitely highly recommended.

We had a fantastic tour of the Mae Hong Son loop with our guide Mimi. She was fantastic and took very good care of us. Everything went very smoothly. The drivers were responsible and drove safely. Each day was full of activity; we particularly enjoyed the elephant camp, the cave visit, the Pai River cruise and the Myanmar border town. The drive through the beautiful mountain vistas was breathtaking. The highlight of the tour was visiting the hill tribe villages. We really felt like we got a little glimpse into their lives in large part because of Mimi. She would speak to people on the street and involve us in the conversation. We were a bit worried that the local people would be a bit resentful of tourists but everyone was very friendly and welcoming. We felt no no pressure to buy souvenirs except in the Long-necked Karen village but I was happy to buy a few pashminas to help their economy. We made memories for a lifetime.

Very professional. All aspects of the trip were handled very smoothly. Pattana should be complimented for him communication skills and response to requests for information and additional services. Poong Kee was an excellent and knowledgeable tour guide. I learned a lot about the history of Mae Hong Son and the northern part of Thailand on this trip which was a primary goal for me.
